About the Film :
The fourth official film in the LCU, but the first not directed by Lokesh himself. Instead, it’s helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, with story by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Began filming on May 12, 2025, in Chennai.
“Is expected to release in late 2025”
#2. Kaithi 2
About the Film :
This sequel will directly push the LCU’s core narrative forward, filling in key pieces of the puzzle between Kaithi and Vikram.
Filming is expected to begin in early 2026.
Karthi returns as Dilli, with Narain reprising his role as Inspector Bejoy.
#3. Chapter Zero
About the Film :
Before Kaithi and Vikram, there’s a beginning. Lokesh has crafted a short film titled Chapter Zero—a 10-minute origin story that will set the tone for the entire universe.
Filming reportedly wrapped by July 2025, now in post-production.
Fans will finally get a clear glimpse of how the drug empire, police battles, and mysterious figures like Rolex came into play.
#4. Rolex
About the Film :
One of the loudest cheers in theatres came when Suriya appeared as Rolex in Vikram. Now, he’s getting his own film.
Still in the planning stage, with no official filming schedule yet.
Rolex is positioned as the “big boss” of the LCU. His standalone film is expected to deepen the villain’s mythology and raise the stakes for everyone else.
#5. Vikram 2
About the Film:
After Kamal Haasan’s electrifying return in Vikram (2022), fans can look forward to Vikram 2, which will once again bring Agent Vikram back into action.
Kamal Haasan is set to reprise his role, with Fahadh Faasil and others expected to return.
Officially announced as part of Lokesh’s final lineup for the LCU, though production dates are yet to be locked.
This sequel is expected to bring the threads of Kaithi 2 and Rolex together, potentially setting the stage for the LCU’s grand convergence.
